Indian cuisine is a combination of subtle tastes. Flavours are as varied as the climate of India and as exotic as the people in India. Fragment spices, pungent and warm spices, from the four corners of the country are delicately blended in meticulous proportions to create the dishes we present to you. Each dish will have its own distinctive flavour and aroma which cannot come from any curry powder but from spices which have to be separately prepared each day afresh for each natural dish. The blending and preparation of spices is a centuries old craft and indispensable to Indian cuisine.
We have a takeaway curry most weekends and always from The Ganges. We’ve tried other Truro curry houses but the food is the best here. Friendly staff and great food, what more could you ask for.

We always choose the Ganges when we go out for a curry in Truro, as it has the most consistently good food with great service of all the curry establishments in Truro. Their 'special' curries are amazing, always tempting me to try new dishes and never disappoints. Tony and his team always give us a warm welcome too, what's not to like?

Possibly the most established Indian in town and quite old fashioned but ..
Starting to think may be best in town - never had a bad meal or takeaway from here.
Menu fairly old fashioned but food really good.
Good value for money and becoming my favourite takeaway in town!

This restaurant is one of the best restaurants I've ever been! The food is very high standard and not many restaurants can compete with this restaurant! The staff are welcoming and friendly-very easy to talk to. The decor is traditional yet modern. This is certainly a restaurant I advise you to visit.

Just had a karahi chicken takeaway from this restaurant ,absolutely delicious, wife had lamb kurma (korma) she said also very delicious, staff are very good, manager remembered who I was even though I've not been for 12 months or more, most impressed would recommend this restaurant to anyone, well done Ganges.
